Celebrate the Act of Giving

 The mission of GottaBWarm is to provide sleeping bags and gift bags of accessory items to help keep the homeless warm so they also stay healthy, one act of kindness at a time❣️

Some people are homeless from reckless choices, some have mental illnesses, some did all the right things and life threw them a curve ball and they got knocked down ….. however, no matter how many times one falls all that matters is that they keep getting up no matter how long it takes. We don’t go out in the streets asking how people got there, we go out in the streets to help them where they are❣️

  With your purchase(s) of a sleeping bag, a bag of warm items, and/or a full bag which includes both a sleeping bag and bag of warm items, our Acts of Kindness team will hit the streets to give a bag to someone in need. Needs are determined based on seeing individuals sleeping on the ground or simply looking cold and in need❣️

I asked a few friends to pitch in and before I knew it, I had collected more money than I imagined and ordered all of the supplies needed right away. I shared the idea with a friend  and he suggested I add a couple additional items. I then asked for volunteers to donate money and before I knew it, I had collected more money than I imagined and ordered all of the supplies needed right away.

I then had our "Act of Kindness Team" assemble the bags and we were able to give away 30 bags and 20 sleeping bags❣️

This year, I would like to double those numbers❣️

What I realized is that "I can make an impact on the world but when I ask like-minded givers to join forces, we can make a multitude of an impact and movement in the world" ❣️

I'm sure someone has done something like this but I woke up with this idea in my head and on my heart for over a week and it wouldn't rest in my spirit so even though I didn't think I could make a big impact the way I wanted too, I decided to do what I could and was pleasantly surprised that I was able to make a bigger impact than I imagined and at the end of the day, that's all that matters❣️
